Among all the festivals celebrated in India, Diwali has great importance from both social and religious points of view. It is also called Deepotsav. ‘Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya’ means (O Lord!) take me from darkness to light. This is the command of the Upanishads. Due to this, Goddess Lakshmi may get angry with you. Because of this, you have to face money-related problems in life. You should also take care on Diwali and do not offer Tulsi Manjari to Goddess Lakshmi in any way.

Mother Lakshmi has been called the goddess who bestows happiness and good fortune. One should always offer things of auspicious colors like pink, red, etc. to Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi is pleased with this, but one should never offer white color or white clothes in her worship. This is not considered auspicious.

Along with worshiping Goddess Lakshmi, one must worship Lord Gajanand. After worshiping Ganesh, worship of Lakshmi Narayan should be started. Only then the worship of Goddess Lakshmi is completed. Lakshmi Puja is never successful without the worship of Lord Ganesha. To get the full blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, definitely worship Ganesha.
