Ayodhya Ram Mandir: On January 22, Ayodhya is set to host a grand ceremony marking the consecration of the Ram Temple, with invitations extended to various political leaders, industrialists, athletes, and prominent personalities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in the consecration ceremony, scheduled to take place a week earlier on January 16, with the initiation conducted by Varanasi’s priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit. The festivities will continue from January 14 to 22, named the “Amrit Mahotsav.”

The occasion, known as “Pran Pratishtha,” anticipates the presence of over a lakh devotees in the temple city on January 22. Reports suggest that around 7,000 guests from both domestic and international locations have been invited, with more than 6,000 invitation cards sent by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: A Spiritual Marvel in Progress since 2019

The Ayodhya Ram Mandir, a project overseen by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has been in construction since 2019. Spanning an allocated area of 70 acres in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the mandir is being designed by the renowned Sompura Family. The total area of the mandir itself is 2.7 acres, and the construction is being managed by Larsen & Toubro.

With a monumental cost of Rs 18,000 Crore, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is dedicated to Lord Rama. As of the current status in 2024, Phase 1 of the construction has been completed, and Phase 2 is underway. The much-anticipated inauguration is scheduled for January 24, 2024. This sacred edifice holds immense cultural and religious significance, drawing attention not only for its architectural prowess but also for its role in the historical and spiritual heritage of Ayodhya.
